Orlando Antigua is a former basketball player from the Dominican Republic who is also a coach. He was born on May 10, 1973 in Santa Domingo, Dominican Republic. Antigua played college basketball at the University of Pittsburgh where he was a part of the team that reached the top 10 in the rankings.
After his playing career, Antigua transitioned into coaching and has held various coaching positions at the high school, college, and professional level. He was an assistant coach for the University of Kentucky men's basketball team, where he helped lead the team to a national championship in 2012.
Antigua has also been the head coach for the Dominican Republic national team, leading them to success in various international competitions. He is known for his focus on player development and has worked with several NBA players throughout his coaching career.
